rebuilding lightmass will fix this
but please anyone explain how to do that…

I assume because you are seeing this you are running Source. If you are not, please update the post and I will try to figure out whats going on.
Close your project.
In Visual Studio, under “Programs”, find “UnrealLightmass”, right-click it and choose “Rebuild”. When this is done, re-launch your project and try to build lighting again.
