Android app crashes on startup

I was developing a project, it worked when I deployed it to my android device, but then I did some changes to it, and now it crashes when i try to open it on the phone. I am attaching the logs to see if someone can please help me and guide me to what is the problem. Thanks

I think that the problem is in here:

  • What types of changes did you make to your project?
  • Have you upgraded to 4.13.1 yet?
  • Do you still have an older version of your project available without the changes?
  • Have you tested this issue out on any other device?
  • Are all other projects working on your HTC?

What types of changes did you make to your project?

I created a particle system, a new level, a new tiles set and tiles map, added some textures, and changed an image in a widget BP.

Have you upgraded to 4.13.1 yet?

No

Do you still have an older version of your project available without the changes?

Yes, and when I try that version in my phone it works.

Have you tested this issue out on any other device?

Only in windows editor, and it works.

Are all other projects working on your HTC?

Yes.

Also I have already deleted all of the new things I added to my project to leave it like it was with the working version, but still it crashes.

It sounds as though your project is crashing once it’s on the device. Therefore, in order to better assist you, I’m going to need for you to provide me the logs from your mobile device.

  • Attach your phone to the computer
  • Go here: C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
  • Open up Monitor.bat
  • Launch the program and save the logs

If you cannot get Monitor.bat to open, please go to:

  • C:\android-sdk-windows\tools\lib\monitor-x86
  • Open up Monitor.exe
  • Follow the instructions above

Make sure that you highlight all of the logs, because they do not save unless they’re highlighted.
