Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

High quality scene in low-end PC

This will be the weirdest question you'll find, but here I go. I have a pretty bad (super bad) PC and I'm going to use UE4 to have some fun with cool scenes, etc. The problem is: can a bad PC handle it? Edit 1: I'm gonna use Blender to make everything but use UE4 to render.

Super bad laptop specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2430M GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 520MX RAM: 4GB HDD: 500GB OS: Windows 10 Home
Product Version: UE 4.13

To be honest, triangle count ≠ quality. Try to develop an approach that would allow your to get a good looking scene with minimal performance hit. thought i must admit,It will be pretty painful to work on such rig,

To be honest, Deathray is right. look into low poly/low drawcall art and take it from there.

Yeah, I'll try my best on doing cool low-poly models... The bad thing in this rig is the compiling to test lightning and even gameplay: It takes 1 entire minute for lightning and, with a complex scene, 4/5 including gameplay...
