HTC Vive, VR Preview Problem

When I try to preview ShowdownVRDemo it runs perfectly fine. But when I try to preview new VR Template, position and rotation trakings are working but video (output?) is wrong. Its like 2 screens for each eye are closer and overlapping.

  • Changing DefaultEngine.INI to the same with ShowdownVRDemo
  • Making sure that screen percent is 100 in Post Process Volume
    • hmd sp 137 command in Level BP on event begin play (Saw this in ShowdownVRDemo Level BP)
  • VR Instanced Stereo checked
  • Put -fullscreen and -stereo on command in Level BP
  • Packaging and opening. This one crashes that packaged file as soon as I double click it.
  • vrcompositor -keepalive trick.

So I tried all listed above one by one and some of them together. None of them worked.

Noticiable differences:

With ShowdownVRDemo, when I preview it, a standalone window launches. When its first launched, screen in Vive is red. But after clicking top right corner of the screen (this is a trick to get rid of red screen) and maximing that standalone window, it runs perfectly in vive. Just like every other Vive game,

With VR Template, when I press preview, a standalone window launches but I cant maximize that window. No matter what I do, I cant maxime it. And the output is like 2 screens for each eye are closer and overlapping.

I hope what I was trying to ask was clear. If you need a video about this problem, I can do that. But I dont know how to get a picture of output in Vive.

Please post any fix that comes to your mind. Even if I already tried it. Maybe I missed something while trying them.
