[BUG] AIPerception crashing 4.13

I had to remove AIP from my main Character Pawn Class - because engine wouldn’t start after converting from 12.5 to 13.1 - after I removed it I tried to recreate setup from scratch but then engine started to crash at the same point as previously - when starting engine.

I have a few questions regarding the crash:

  • Could you please cause the crash to occur again and provide the following:
  • Logs from your project’s Saved->Logs folder
  • Your Machine ID from the crash reporter window if you are getting one, and ensure to hit Send & Close on the report.
  • A detailed list of repro steps as far as how we can reproduce this in a clean project.

To day I launched my project with plan to make repro of this bug but Engine didn’t start.
After hour of searching for bad blueprint I finally fixed it (something with Placeholder class replacing reference to other class).
After that I tried again to make a repro - but this time everything works fine.
Although I am experiencing a lot of crashes lately (after switching to 4.13) so I wouldn’t bet that everything is fine now.

To be clear, are you unable to reproduce the crash related to AI Perception? If so, I will mark this topic as resolved and you can create new topics for your other crashes.

Yes, right now AIPerception is not the problem for me.

Awesome, glad to hear that’s resolved. For now, create new threads in the Bug Reports section with new crashes you are experiencing. Please create a unique post for each different crash (check the callstack in the Crash Reporter window if you’re getting one to tell if they’re different or not). If you’re not sure if it’s the same issue, just create one thread and we can continue to investigate.
