iOS resolution and buttons

Hi everyone. I’m making a mobile app through UE4.13. I’m setting a kind of main menu like the one in the image below. That main menu is working perfectly on android but i got lots of problems in iOS.

The first one is the appearance of the buttons. They are flipped and deformed on my ipad screen. I’ve been trying to take the scalability settings from the Tappy chicken file but I’m not sure I did it properly.

Further than the appearance they are not working properly. In android each button fullfill its function and doesn’t resize itself, but in iOS the work randomly.

Does anyone know any solution to this?

Hello cgmpalencia,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/widgets/settings that may be involved with this issue?

You mean to send you a complete project file? If that how can I send you?

I don’t even know where I have all my problems. I think is a kind of scalability issue. At the beggining of the project I chose the mobile settings and 2d/3d scalable. After that I didn’t do anything else about the scalability.

I don’t have any blueprint related to the resolution depending on the device and I think that can be the problem, isn’t it?

Sorry about my dumb questions but I’m really new to this.

Thank you

If you would like to provide the project you can do so by attaching it here or by providing a link to a zipped down copy via google drive or drop box. However, if you could try and reproduce the issue that you are having in a clean project, that could help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.
