How to implement voice chat with rooms up to 10 people that needs to run on daydream/GearVR/Cardboard, Preferably with blueprint?

We are evaluating UE4 for a business VR application we are developing, but unfortunately one part is now keeping us back to choose for UE, and that is the missing documentation and/or blueprints (at least after initial online research) on how to implement a simple voice chat room where you would have x amount of players join the room, and where all of them are able to hear/talk to each other.

The solution initially only needs to support Google Daydream/GearVR/Cardboard, but preferably be an all supported platform solution. Is this currently possible without too much custom code? Is there any clear documentation?

Most questions here simply refer to using the steam platform, or the no longer supported twitch play service, but I’m unable to find clear step by step documentation on how to set something like this up.

If anybody would be able to help?
Thank you in advance!,

Not sure if you’re still working on it or completed the study. But I’m doing my master’s thesis now on an incredibly similar study. Do you have a research paper? I might cite it.

Sorry, never managed to get this to work. I would still be interested in what your thesis conclusion is if you could reply it in this post ?

Good luck!

Ah okay that’s unfortunate. Well so far I’ve only been working on the theory parts, I haven’t gotten to the implementation part yet. But you can read the thesis on the link here. I will keep updating it from time to time, the deadline is in June so updates will be coming till then. [Thesis on ShareLatex][1]
