Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can't un-scale a scaled down Blueprint Component that hits 0.0 via scaling widget?

Working in Version 4.13.1, it seems that I can't un-scale Blueprint components that are being scaled negatively by scale factors of 1.0 or less, when that component's scale hits 0.0 in size along an axis while using the scaling transformation widget. Here is what i observed...

  1. So, when using scaling factor of 1.0, the component would 'snap' to 0.0 when scaling in the negative direction, and then i cant un-scale it from that point on unless i hit undo, or manually type in a scale size in the settings.

  2. when using a factor of say 0.5 or 0.25, i could properly scale the component down, and even hit 0.0, once! If i scaled it down again for the 2nd time, and hit 0.0, i couldn't scale it back up again.

This affected Static and Skeletal Mesh components, as well as just your typical box collision component for a Blueprint.

hope this helps.
