Can I get a better tutorial on how to collaborate remotely?

Hello all!

So I have read the official unreal tutorial regarding collaboration forwards and backwards dozens of times, I have scoured you tube and the forums high and low trying to get a better walk through on how to set this up…

Myself and some colleagues don’t live in the same state but are trying to work together on a project…

I have downloaded a handful of different programs recommended by these various sources (Putty, Tortious, SVN ect) but without a guide to fully understand their use and implementation I feel that I will just remain confused as to why they won’t work.

I bought a Website Domain for hosting and I feel that I am (at times) on the right track… As I can get the Unreal Source to send successfully but I’m not sure to where or how to access it or how if it did work to let my colleagues access it…

Basically, this is a little too advanced for someone of my computer skill to stumble around and find the solution…

There is a rather detailed Unreal 4 tutorial on how to collaborate locally… I am completely shocked! (And frustrated) that there is not a similarly detailed video tutorial about remote collaboration, particularly since that is “generally” the most used pipeline for all indie Unreal game development teams who don’t work in a single office…

It is my opinion that having an intuitive tutorial about this essential remote feature would greatly benefit everyone and allow the possibility of professional indie game development to become more accessible to all skill levels!

Can someone please help me in any way? I appreciate your time!
