Please tell me how it should be. With a lot of noise like mine or this is bug?
Especially noticeable noise in motion.
Not sure, but maybe it has something to do with quality settings, screen-space reflections quality in particular?
Everywhere has are maximum settings and in Post Process Screen-space reflections Quality is 100
The problem was solved in two console commands
“r.SSR.Temporal = 1” for smooth noise
“r.SSR.Quality = 4” for extra quality of reflections (by reducing performance)
Hi guys,
I’m afraid it’s not a question of “SSR quality” or of “temporal” thinggummies, but a question of distance between the metallic reflector (the static mesh) and the surrounding scenery.
(r.SSR.Temporal = 1 and r.SSR.Quality = 4 don’t work)
In fact, the reflection is perfect when you are very close the mesh: the distant scenery (the background, trees and so on) is perfectly rendered : no lines, no stripes, no noise.
So how to do to have a clear reflection only a few feet away ?
Many thanks for answer I’ve googled several times without solutions.
