What is the range for the priority parameter in sound cues?

The default is set to 1.
The higher the number the greater the priority.
This is all well and good but what range are we working with here?
0 to 2? 0 to 10? 0 to 100000000000?

It would helpful to know if there’s a cap to the priority range here.

Also, the tool tip in the engine says, “This priority value is weighted against the final volume of the sound.”
What does that mean?

Basically as long as what you want to have highest priority has the bigger number you are fine. I use 1 as the highest since there shouldn’t ever be more than a few sounds happening at any given time. As for the tool tip, imagine you have an ambience track, say wind blowing through trees and some kind of level music and you want footstep sounds on your player. So you need to setup your sounds in a way that they don’t fight so generally you want sound effects to override the ambient sounds and level music or else you won’t hear them well if at all.
