Hello, I’m using Unreal Engine for a task in a laboratory setting. The actual Unreal Engine software is not installed on the computer but it instead is being launched by some other program in a limited capacity; I’m not sure of the specifics of this. Several days ago the program was working fine and launched without problem. Currently on the same computer, attempting to open the program results in 1-2 seconds of waiting and then nothing. There is no information in the logfiles so it seems it’s not even launching at all. A full system restore was unable to solve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m assuming that when you say that another program was being launched you’re talking about the Epic Games Launcher. This is what is used to download Unreal Engine 4. If you’re still having these issues with the launcher, please try visiting http://help.epicgames.com/ and search for your issue. If you cannot find any information on your particular problem, please try using the “Email Us” link at the top right for further assistance.
