Auto arrange material nodes?

hey guys is there any way you can add a feature for auto arranging material node inside the material editor since the nodes gets messy so quickly and re-arranging them manually could be time consuming

i attached an example from autodesk 3ds-max auto-layout feature inside the material editor of 3ds max and it would be great if we had such a thing in ue4 … i hope i can hear from you guys soon

I’m sorry that feature does not exist for the material editor, however it is available for blueprint graphs.

You are right it can get messy, but UE4 shader can more complex then 3ds max, and it’s hard to generate a tool that will arrange them automaticly

To add to that, I doubt anybody with at least a little experience in the material editor would ever use a tool like that. I would probably rage whenever I accidentally press that button if it was available :stuck_out_tongue:
