How to set destructible mesh to break in VR, when I throw it at some velocity to hit something?

I have set a destructible mesh in VR level, I can pick it up now. But then I enable Impact Damage , it would break immediately when my motion controller touch it. I want it to break after I pick it up ,and throw it to something above some velocity.
Anyone know how to set that?

Could you clue me in as to how to pick up destructible meshes at all? I’m having trouble making this happen.

In the Collision preset of destructible component set the preset to custom and ignore pawn. This will make the object to be pickedup without destructing it.
