Character Blueprint Name as this, will be Crash !!

I found my Character Blueprint’s Name “BP_Character_MaglevSpaceShip_Cinematics” ( Original Name )

Have some problem.

When I change the Static Mesh of that.

And re-compile the Blueprint.

It Crash ~ ~ ! !


And then, I restart the UE4 Project.

It Crash too ~ ~ ! !


I am already resolved that with the New Name.

( “BP_Character_MaglevSpaceShip_Cine” )

But It seems the UE4’s Bugs.


Maybe is the Path Name’s length issue in some where of the UE4 Engine’s Code.

( I think it will be very very Deep and Deep in the codes. ~ ~ )

I was unable to reproduce this issue on our end. I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide additional screen shots of any blueprints/settings that may be involved?

  1. I am not reproduce this issue in a clean project.

But in my current project, it will be repeat crash.

Even if I restart the computer.


I will try to migrate the relational assets to a new clean project.

and try it again.
