I installed VisualStudio 2013 to the non-default location, and whenever I try to perform a function in UE4 which requires a compiler (e.g. AddCodetoProject), it does not say a compiler is installed. Is there a way to tell UE4 where VisualStudio is installed?
Did you restart your pc since installing VS2013? I had a similar problem but it got fixed with a restart.
Also, have you created the visual studio project files and imported the solution?
I reinstalled VisualStudio and restarted my computer, but it still did not give me the option to use it as a compiler.
Could you please try the solution to this question and see if that works for you: How can I get Unreal Engine 4 to detect Visual Studio 2013? - Pipeline & Plugins - Epic Developer Community Forums
