Display Stereo 360 | Run external Player

Hi!
I’m currently trying to use a stereo 360 rendering inside VR, but can’t get this to work.
I saw this come up here a couple of times over the past few months but i figured maybe someone got this working in 4.13?

So far i couldn’t get the mapping in the sphere right though. Did anyone here have success using this approach?

One possible solution for the time being, would also be be to use an external player. Is there a way to start an external player from within ue4, pause my game while that is running and then jump back into it once the video is over?
