Footstep Sounds with Physical Material

UR vers 4.9.2

I made a small beach scene were the character has to walk on sand and water. I want the foot steps to make a sound based on were the character steps.

I am trying to follow this tutorial (- YouTube), but still have no footstep sounds when my character walks on different materials.I have done the following:

-Imported WAV sounds and made Audio Ques
-Made Physical Surfaces in the physics project properties
-Created Physical Materials and assigned them to the physical surfaces
-Assigned my asset materials to the Physical Materials
-Added a Notify marker to the running animation
-Added the proper nodes to the animation blueprint

That last step is were i suspect were i made a mistake. Ill attach a few images to help.

When you eventually create the landscape terrain; you’ll have to create 1 material which blends all 3 materials. In my case I have grass and rock; and then apply it to the Landscape

And then it’ll be available to add to landscape layers

For each material layer, you then add a Layer Info by clicking the dropdown next to it as far as i can remember.

In content browser find the Water Layer Info in your case, mine is Grass.

And there you can assign a PhysMaterial to each of the Layer infos you’ve created.

Does anyone know how to set this working with the “Non-Destructibe” mode? Having “Enable edit Layers” on the landscape and painting in different layers?. For me it always picks up the bottom layer.
