Swarm Agent Remote Nodes Not Connecting

Documentation appears to be pretty weak here. The sections which may have had details relating to setting up remote nodes is no longer available in the Unreal 3 section. I see no similar section in any unreal 4 documentation.

I found suggestions, but none of them have worked out so far.

I copied the Engine/Binaries and Engine/Extras.

I installed the prereqs on each remote node.

Coordinator is setup along with agent on the workstation that starts the light build.

Each slave node has agent setup with the following configuration (I’ve tried countless slight variations on this config)

This is what I see from the workstation:

Only the local node connects. No remote nodes connect.

I have no clue why.

I think this is solved, but it still is acting a bit quirky. I gave a unique group name in each agent. Now all nodes are working, however these are many cored xeons and there doesn’t appear to be much reason or rhyme in how many cores will be utilized and on which nodes from one lightmass build to the next.

I don’t know if this is normal or what.

I believe the complexity of the map can play a role in this. After you gave a unique group name in each agent, what did you set the AllowGroupName to? I just did that myself, Default01, Default02, etc etc and set the AllowGroupName to Default* and now it will only bake locally
