Search help

4.13.1 - Sudden Package error

Hello, after getting 4.13.1 I suddenly started getting this error in my project when packaging. I tried deleting all my blueprints, made them from scratch and repackage, but for some reason I can't package the bloody project, I get this error out of nowhere about something missing from UE4, and I'm using a fresh UE install.

And I really need to deliver this project and NO COMPILE error on my blueprints.

Hi fdslk,

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Delete the Intermediate and Saved folders from your Project Folder

  2. Run a map check on all levels

  3. Right-click on the Contents folder in the Content Browser and select "fix up redirectors in folder"

  4. In the installed location, delete the contents of the DerivedDataCache folder

  5. Try packaging again

If packaging still fails, please post the entire contents of the Output Log as a text doc and attach.

Also, describe your packaging settings: for development or shipping? etc.

Hi fdslk,

From your output log I see three errors that need to be addressed:

  1. WARNING: ERROR: NOTE: Please ensure that 64bit Tools are installed with DevStudio

  2. Error: Invalid CDO in class /Engine/Transient.TRASHCLASS_ColorPickWidgetBar_10

  3. Referencers of WidgetAnimation /Engine/Transient.TRASHCLASS_Teleport_8:WidgetAnimation_0:.....:Error: Windows GetLastError: The system cannot find the file specified. (2)

Regarding #1 above, the resolution to that can be found on the following link: ...ensure that 64bit Tools are installed with DevStudio

This may resolve items 2 and 3. If not you will have to open those Widgets and check for and correct the errors accordingly.

Address these issues and if you are still unable to package, please provide a new log.

What was the latest Engine version before UE4.13.1 you were able to package a clean project?
