Whem my dynamic moveble directional light i placed in a specific angle. I get this. I have tried to build the lightning but nothing happens. The only thing that worked was if i set the directional light to Static instead of moveble. Is it posseble to fix this? for helping

Hi Packetmonkey,

Usually when you have dark banding like that it is a result of your shadow bias being set too low causing self shadowing artifacts on your mesh. A possible reason why it looks different with a stationary light is because your directional light’s “dynamic shadow distance stationary light” is set to 0.

I’m assuming that you are talking about the dark banding on the mesh and not the bright pink floor BTW.

Let me know if that helps,

Ed

so much. Only one more question, why is “dynamic shadow distance stationary light” set so i can’t change it?. The floor btw is just so i can clearly see the lighting.

That is just the default value, You can change that value to determine at what point the stationary light’s dynamic lighting takes over. Other wise it will use your baked lighting.
