My umg designer is messed up

My UMG designer suddenly desided to look like in the attached image and I can’t restore it to default layout. Is there some way (secret or otherwise) to do this?

I tried the Reset Layout in the Windows menu, but that didn’t restore the UMG designer.

The little yellow corner of the window that popped out can be clicked to reveal a tab. Use that to redock your graph

I tried to get to that little yellow corner, but it does not work. Normally it lights up when you mouse over it, but with undocked windows where that tab it hidden it just doesn’t happen and I am unable to get the tab back.

I have good news and Bad News I have replicated this bug in a new project.
Bad News Now mine is broken :stuck_out_tongue:

Replicate.

Open a new umg widget.
Detach the graph.
Hide the Tab.

I was able to get my detached umg designer window back in place the following way: Close the umg editor then use ‘reset layout’ from ‘windows’ menu in the main level editor. You do get the hassle of rearranging your personal layout if you were doing that, though.

On the other hand you don’t have to go through the hassle of reinstalling (or whatever the alternative is).

And I am sorry for “breaking” your unreal editor!

hahaha it’s no problem. Its for sure a bug.

Hello Fjellgnu,

I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I have also provided a link to the public tracker. Please feel free to use the link provided for future updates.
