Particle Ribbons overlapping at very high speed

hi there. I’ve been battling the ribbon system for a little while to try and solve this problem im having with what seems like ribbon sections overlapping near the source when the emitter is moving at very high speed in the world.

This is the issue I keep seeing -

I was trying to see what was causing it via various tests, and it seems like it’s caused by the tessellation. I added an initial velocity so see what would happen if i injected speed thinking that maybe the tessellation formula needed a little speed to function properly. It didn’t make any difference in the look, but it did sort of expose the problem.

As you can see, in the particle editor everything looks great -

If there was some way to increase the speed of the “motion” option in the editor it might be easier to see the problem there as well.
