Asset Player Functions within State Transitions and Negative Play Rate and

When trying to transition to another state via the “Time Remaining Ratio” function, no value is ever returned. This happens if the play rate of the previous animation is set to negative value. The opposite is true when the play rate of the previous animation is set to a positive value.

Do the Asset Player functions break when a negative play rate is used in the previous animation state?
Is there a possible workaround to this issue?

Can you please provide a screenshot and some additional details of your setup? I’m having trouble reproducing this. I’ve tried changing the play rate on the AnimBP node itself and in the Animation Sequence.
