Unreal Engine 4.13.0 Issue (black landscape)

For a 2-3 month ago i create smart landscape in WM and port it into unreal. For this landscape I’ve create smart material from 4 base unreal materials (grass,rust, gravel and rock). So this project was created in Unreal 4.7.0 and then i successfully update it to 4.12.4 version.
Now im trying to update this project to Unreal Engine 4.13.0. And what i have?

Landscape material works properly but landscape fully black.

i think layers are missing, you need to re-add them in landscape menu.

layers on the board. Material works and shown as it must be.

but landscape stays black. I think its PP or lightning issue.
For now im create new material same methods like in 4.7.0. And it works properly in engine but when i attach it to landscape from content browser landscape came dark.

Can you attach an image of your material graph - also what happens when you set the landscape to movable?

I’m having this exact issue and can’t figure out how to fix it.

it has something to do with the fact that in UE 4.13 they deleted Usage of Landscape check box, I’m kinda affected by the same thing

I have the same problem with Layers. The hole landscape turns black. And I made it in 4.15.

I’m having this exact issue, but just by following their “Quick Start Grass Tool” documentation. It’s clearly a bug that they have no intention of fixing. Maybe I should have just paid for Unity 6 months ago instead of wasting all that time learning this engine.

I’m having the same problem- I’m trying to follow along on Lynda.com’s Unreal Essential Training, and unfortunately this has put a halt to my progress!
