For a 2-3 month ago i create smart landscape in WM and port it into unreal. For this landscape I’ve create smart material from 4 base unreal materials (grass,rust, gravel and rock). So this project was created in Unreal 4.7.0 and then i successfully update it to 4.12.4 version.
Now im trying to update this project to Unreal Engine 4.13.0. And what i have?
but landscape stays black. I think its PP or lightning issue.
For now im create new material same methods like in 4.7.0. And it works properly in engine but when i attach it to landscape from content browser landscape came dark.
I’m having this exact issue, but just by following their “Quick Start Grass Tool” documentation. It’s clearly a bug that they have no intention of fixing. Maybe I should have just paid for Unity 6 months ago instead of wasting all that time learning this engine.
I’m having the same problem- I’m trying to follow along on Lynda.com’s Unreal Essential Training, and unfortunately this has put a halt to my progress!
