Lighting won't build Third Person

I cannot build lighting in my current project.

Please assist.

Bump for visibility as I have not resolved this issue. I have looked all over the interwebz and have not been able to find a way around this. I am not sure what to do from this point.

Try some of the solutions on this page for the following:

I also see from the log above that you’re on 4.10. You may want to try a later version like 4.12 or 4.13 as I seem to recall there being some issues with light builds in 4.9 and 4.10 that had to be resolved. They didn’t affect everyone, but it was more common with those builds I think.

Thank you very much for your response. I deleted all of my superfluous assets (plant material mainly) and cleaned and validated cache in Swarm it resolved itself. I use 4.10 because I purchased an asset pack from the market some time back that i am using and it has not been updated to newer versions yet. In any event I appreciate your time and expertise.

You should be able to open the asset in later versions of the engine as well. That shouldn’t prevent you from being able to use them, especially with all the improvements to rendering and lightmass along the way. :slight_smile:

Especially if it’s just assets and not Blueprints which can often change depending on improvements and deprecations. Anyway, glad all is well now for your project.
