Does lightmass swarm work over the internet?

I’ve followed a stack of tutorials but can’t get this to work.

Is it possible to render on a remote pc (when I say remote I mean miles away over the internet).

Becuase it’s setup with the public ip address of the swarm coordinator running on my machine but the agent does not appear on the list. Is that because it’s not on a LAN? does swarm only work on a LAN?

Yes, it should.
Over VPN, because you’ll need some LAN only comunication between agent and coordinator (at least)
Over hamachi it worked, here
