How do I import a model from 3DS Max to UE4?

Hello, I just have no idea how to import 3ds model from 3ds max to ue4. Help me out guys.

Export as an FBX using 2013 (4.1.1 UE4) and when 4.2 is released you’ll export using FBX 2014.

In the settings check the appropriate settings you’ll need based on what you’re exporting.

in the scaling section make sure to change it to Centimeters otherwise your mesh will be scaled down significantly.

I do everything as shown on either esport from 3ds and import to ue4 guides, but i still get this result in many materials:

I realize it has something to do with the way textures are configured, because they’re diffuse in 3ds but import as normal, how can i solve this problem?
