Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

using a blendspace in matinee

is there a way to use a blendspace in a matinee sequence ? i have two animations that don't play smoothly together, i resolved this by creating a blendspace between the two but now need to either import this into my matinee or convert this to an animation (perhaps by recording it)? so i can play the two animations together smoothly in the final cutscene.

if there's no way to add blendspaces over time to a matinee could dev consider this please? seams like this would fit well with the sequencer and solve a few similar posts i've come across.

I have the same problem, how did you solve this?

I didn't really, it's on the back burner, if you come across anything key me know

In the meantime I've been getting my two animations together in a blend space in the anim editor, then carefully scrolling from one to the other whilst pressing record. I made a blank blend space and use it to record every transition to avoid clutter

I tried this, but the new animation, recorded from the blendspace, come with a distorted skeleton. The problem probably is with the skeleton, but is the one from mixamo :/

I've had similar issues from mixamo, try downloading from there to 3Rd party (I use blender) then getting it ready for ue4 there. Never had much luck with the ue4 fbx option, although I don't remember the format that works..maybe have a YouTube for mixamo to ue4. There's a few techniques
