Tried doing a bunch of things to give me privileges to install the thing, but nothing seems to work.
I get the error message: “Epic games Installer has ended prematurely because of an issue” right after I select the installation path and press next.
I went to my regedit and gave myself the ability to run .msi packages as administrator (for some strange reason you can’t do this by default in Windows 10), but when I try the run the msi package as admin i get the following error message:
“The installation package could not be verified. Verify the package exists and you can access it, or contact the vendor to make sure this is a valid installation package”

Turns out I just had to update my AMD graphics drivers. I had it rolled back to a previous version due to bugs and issues with the latest one, but after I updated it the installer worked fine.
