Character disapears after sequencer export

Hi,

I wanted to create a short Video of a Character walking down the street.

Therefor I recoded myself with the Sequencer Record tool and added the camera with some cool camera moves and so on. I had a lot of problem exporting the video (its still not working beacuse I want to write at 0x00000000 but thats not the topic here) so I chose to export as jpg and clip them to a movie afterwards.

So now I have a lot of jpgs from my cool camera, but my character is missing! In The sequencer tool I saw my character walking, but after exporting the jpgs hes missing.

Does anyone know why this could be, is iit a problem that I didn’t attach the Character to the camera cut, is it the export or is it … I don’t know, something else?

I will add screenshots tomorrow so you see my struggle.

Thanks

I seem to recall fixing this bug. I see a checkin in perforce that addresses this issue for 4.13 and it looks like you’re experiencing this bug in 4.13?

Yes, it’s 4.13

My workaround is to capture a sequence with foucs on my actor, then I add him manually again and add positions for him and use the recorded animation for him.
That works, but not well
