Why does my decal look drasticly different like this?

We haven't tried doing much with the decals, but is it because of the lack of either specular or normal map? Edit: tried adding normal and specular. No change, and value to the roughness.
Figured it out by putting the diffuse texture into the emissive with a small multiplier of 0.01
