Why does my decal look drasticly different like this?

So here is what it looks like when in the actuall scene:

But here is what it looks like on a similar material in a test scene:

We haven’t tried doing much with the decals, but is it because of the lack of either specular or normal map?
Edit: tried adding normal and specular. No change, and value to the roughness.

Figured it out by putting the diffuse texture into the emissive with a small multiplier of 0.01
