Could someone please take a look at my lightmap uvs and tell me why i'm getting these bleeding problems?

As you can see from around the scene, i’ve been learning and trying to fix it for hours.

Right now I have 2 guesses for why this is happening

  1. There’s not enough space between everything to let them breath?

  2. From one of the toturials I was watching, it was mentioned that if something isn’t snapped to the uv grid or kinda hanging around in the middle of it, it can cause problem for modular objects. But this doesn’t make sense because my uvs aren’t big enough for me to organize them that way.

Everything on the same side is stitched together and everytime there’s a hard corner in the mesh, i made sure to cut the uv.

Also I made sure to scale everything correctly before normalizing (scale option is unticked)

I’m scared to scale everything down even more for more room because i feel like having the uvs be too small has its own problems.

Either way i’m lost and would REALLY appreciate someone trying to explain what’s wrong to me.
