Pawn standing on another pawn won't follow it

Sorry for the confusing title; but basically my physics enabled capsule component pawn is trying to stand on top of a car (parent blueprint is pawn, not vehicle). When the car moves forward, my character simple stands in place and falls off when the car leaves.

I tested having my character stand on a moving platform, and it successfully follows it. It won’t on the car because the car’s physics is also enabled. Is there a way to have a physics-enabled pawn stand on top another physics-enabled pawn and have it follow its movements (without doing ‘ontouch’ then mimic add location)
