My compile button is no longer there anybody know where it went?
I think I have figured it out. I think it was because it was the demo project but it was a c++ project right? not blueprints. I created a new c++ project and it showed back up so I don’t know what to think.
I believe the Compile button only shows if you have VS open and the correct solution loaded.
Just to elaborate- it should never show for Blueprint Only projects because there is no VS project.
I’m not sure if this happens in the version you were using, but in UE 4.12, the compile button shows regardless of whether you have Visuačl Studio open or not. Actually, it shows after you create a Visual Studio project from the Unreal Editor and then it stays there even if Visual studio is not open.
