Is there a way to tranfer your preferences when a new version of engine is released? I’ve just downloaded latest version and all my settings are default, any way to copy these over from previous version?

Using Set as Default in Editor Preferences should transfer to 4.2 without any changes. For Project Settings, there are some people reporting their preferences not transferring over to projects converted to 4.2. Are you referring to Editor Preferences or Project Settings? Can you tell me specifically what isn’t being transferred? And if it’s related to Project Settings, can you tell me what method you used to convert your project (Open as Copy, Convert in Place)?
For either, you should at least be able to Export your settings and then Import them into your 4.2 project.

It was editor preferences I was hoping to transfer over. I just tried opening 4.1.1 to set my preferences as default, but they appear to be lost now. Then after opening 4.2.0 they appear to have tranferred over now, maybe closing and opening editor does so?
