Help with blueprints - Survival game
How do i create: -A crafting system -Building system -inventory system -gathering system -how would i make each swing of an axe (for example) hit a tree then make wood drop out per hit?
Now im not stupid enough to think that i will get all/any of these answered here, but could anyone point me in a direction of tutorials on how to get any of these done and any tutorials on learning unreal blueprints and how to use them (so i could know how to create things such as these on my own?
im a level 1 noob and you guys are probably levels 100 and put loads of hardwork into learning unreal engine, if you have experience in unreal would you be able to tell me what you did in order to learn unreal, tutorials ? school? courses ?
my dream is to create a game of my own preference and yes i get it, im not special as this is 100,000 other peoples dream two, but i have zero ideas on where to begin!
Things i have covered in my project so far: -added a sprint system -hunger system - with a hunger bar -and modelled my assets
literally any help is appreciated!

Your best bet is to start on youtube and type in what you want... Google is also your best friend on this. Wess Bunn from Epic Games does a great drag and drop inventory system link text to start you out. You can set up line trace systems to pickup objects/ interact with objects/ an place objects. This is what you will need to look up for a lot of the building and inventory systems. If you get stuck, ask here or the forums and most people are very helpful when it comes to customized game setups that have no good tutorials for.
