UV Overlapping

Hello,

I’ve been working for a few hours on a building model, composed of A LOT of different meshes (I just hate making a big one, cause I just can’t put my UV correctly on one big model).
I imported it in blender, looks good, but when I do some lighting build, it says my Ovject’s UV are overlapping by 1.3%. I checked, it did create the lightmap, and it did apply it correctly. Only 1.3% ? I do’nt understand.

Hope you can help,
Cheers

All the information you need about this can be found here: Error: Lightmap UV are overlapping by 40% - General Discussion - Unreal Engine Forums

Additionally, if your uv’s are overlapping themselves or are inverted, even the auto generator cant fix it.

Okay, so… Seems like the error is fixed after a few tries with settings. However, it does that kind of odd lighting:

It looks like either your UVs are still overlapping, or your lightmap resolution for that object is vastly too small. Try increasing the resolution and see if that helps.
