Exporting FBX From Sequencer

Hey guys,
So we’re trying to setup some animation captures in Unreal Engine and want to take the results back into Maya.
We’re setting up a scene, running through it using Record to Sequencer, and then once we find a take we like, we want to export it back to Maya.

Unfortunately I can’t seem to export FBX animation out of sequencer. It always comes out as a static mesh.
I was under the impression animation exports out of sequencer were supported. Any ideas?
