Category is not working in Widget Blueprint

In the Widget blueprint editor, there is a category property in variable, I can set it as my own custom category and show in MyBlueprint Tab browser, but after I compiled it, all variable’s category changed to default.
Is it a bug?

The issue has been close has “Won’t fix”. Well, if it won’t be fixed, just remove the feature :D… or better, fix it :stuck_out_tongue:
I confirm this bug in 4.14.0

To be more precise, categories works with your own variable, but you can’t sort widgets into categories.

For some weird reason - yes, it still is, even 3 years later. WTF?

Now I’m doing my project with 4.20.2. It is still a bug there. lol

yeah, it’s work with gameobject, but not widget object. Try text field or buttons, etc.

I am under the impression this has never worked for widgets.
