Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Stationary Light not casting Static Shadows


I have a Stationary Directional Light which is not casting any Static Shadows and from what I understand this is not whats supposed to happen. I have built lighting with proper lightmass setting and project settings. With a Dynamic range of 0 I was under the impression that it's supposed to look like as if it was set to Static?

When I build lighting with the Direction Light set to Static I get vastly different and better results. But I still need cascaded shadows for moveable objects and the player character, so this isn't a solution to the problem.

When I switch it back Stationary and build the lighting again, the static shadows are completely gone.

I've seen others have the same problem but no solutions being posted.
