How to switch joint from Kinematic to Simulate in blueprint?

hey,

Is it possible to switch a skeleton joint from kinematic to simulated? Basically I am picking up objects in VR that have a simulated joint chain. I have made the first joint kinematic, so i can attach to the hand and the rest of the chain is simulated. This all works, but when I drop the object, i want that first joint to simulate and drop to the floor.

Any ideas?
