Reimporting mesh used with landscape spline crashes editor

When reimporting a mesh that is currently being used in a landscape spline in the current level, the editor crashes.

Hello Shirk,

I was unable to reproduce the issue on my end using a new blank 4.14 project and a simple plane as my mesh.

Can you provide me with either a test project where the crash reproduces, or simple steps to follow in a new blank project to get the crash to occur on my end?

I will also need your crash logs from the crash so I can investigate the callstack and other necessary information when logging a bug report.
