Gamestate and Gamemode are broken

I’m having an issue where despite changing the game-modes “gamestate” to a custom value, it still being stuck on “GameStateBase”. I’ve tried changing this both in settings and direct editing to the game-mode itself. upon compiling the game-mode, all “event begin play” functions for “Default Pawn Class”, “Player Controller Class”, “Player State Class” cease to start. I’m not sure if this is plugin related or not, but i am using; Melee Plugin, Advanced Sessions, and Low Entry.

Further testing comes to this conclusion, the gamemode’s Gamestate will only change after restarting editor; However once doing so, using a custom gamestate breaks all the other options “event begin plays” One other thing to note that might be doing it is, the custom gamestate uses an interface.

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

  1. Can you reproduce this issue with out the unofficial plugin?
  2. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  3. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  4. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/settings that may be involved?
