Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Do royalties apply to marketplace 3D models used in other game engines?

Hello,

There are some paid 3D models that I have purchased from Marketplace that I would like to use within a different game engine (Unity3D). I have gone through the process of importing the 3D Models and textures into the other game engine, but before I continue, I would like to be 100% certain about royalties regarding 3D Models purchased from Marketplace. Does the 5% royalty apply to 3D models and textures purchased from the Marketplace? I know that content that says something along the lines of "This content is not permitted for use in non-Unreal Engine games." can not be used, but I want to clarify for products (specifically 3D models and textures) that do no say that.

Thanks!
