Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

UE 4.12.5 PackagingResults: Error Unknown Cook Failure

Hey guys, I've got a strange packing error I'm not sure how to suss out.

I'm simply trying to build my UE 4.12.5 project but I get the error message in the attachments of this Answer thread. It's just showing the warnings & Errors, I can certainly add the whole output log if people need it.

I've also attached the packaging settings as well & it's only for Windows 10 64-bit output.

This is for a University submission but I can easily screen record the viewport editor if needs be but a nice .exe would be awesome if you guys know whats up.

Many thanks in advance!

The Floating Platypus,

  • Try to delete your Intermediate and Saved folders from the project.

  • Remove and reimport the assets back into your project.

  • If that doesn't work, please open the asset and edit something, save it and try again.

If that does not work, please upload the full error output log as a .txt file.

Thank you!
