Android Packaging Error - D:\\android-sdk-windows\tools\ant\build.xml:716

Hi, I keep getting this error no matter the settings I use in the Android SDK section in the Project Settings, whether I set SDK and API Levels to latest or matchndk and. I have installed CodeWorks for Android 1R5 fully, and set the directories correctly in the Android SDK section in the Project Settings. I have Visual Studio 2015 (Community version) installed as well. I have also setup my android device to for app deployment. But when I try to package the game, I keep getting this error. I just opened a new project with the third person template and tried to package it.

Have you tried deleting your Intermediate and Saved folders from your project? If so, could you please upload your Android SDK.

Hi Maxx_Rexx,

In addition to 's suggestions, look into your android package name. The error says, ‘package com.YourCompany.[TEST]’ … your package name can’t be ‘[TEST]’.

Also, I see an error with the iphone packager. Are you also packaging your game for iphone?

Thanks guys! Changing the package name to whatever I wanted without the ‘[’ and ‘]’ worked. I was able to package and deploy the project.

So I tried packaging my actual game project, Adrayvia, and after about 3+ hours, the build failed. I used the same settings as the example project I built. I’m not sure where or what is causing the build to fail. Please help.

  • Please delete your Intermediate and Saved folder from your project

  • The function/event ‘Complete Objective’ does not match the necessary signature - has the delegate or function/event changed? relates to the fact that the parameters in the parenthesis is incorrect - check them.
  • LogBlueprint:Error: [Compiler PillarCornerSelector] Error Could not find a function named “IsPillarOnCorner” in ‘PillarCornerSelector_C’. Check the function being called, make sure it’s named properly.

Running out of available Mobile Texture Samplers - Rendering - Epic Developer Community Forums

Thanks . The original project is about 19GB of data, but upon migrating the actual used files to a new project, the new project with the used files were about 2.5GB. Upon trying to package this project, I got an error after about 2 hours saying it could not locate the executable in the binaries. I’ll try packaging again and if I still get the error, I’ll post it here.
