Shipping Dedicated Server

Hello,
I have correctly built my client package using the shipping configuration without any issue, but i’m having some problems when i use the version built using the shipping configuration of my dedicated server. The main problems are that i can’t start the server using the map name parameter from command line and when a player logs out from the match the server crashes. Everything does not happen if i use the development .exe of the server. I simply build the server .exe and copy it next to the client .exe folder, i then run it from command line.
Would it be a bad idea to release the server using the development .exe?

Maybe can you attach a crash log and give some other information about the errors you get? Releasing the server as a Development version should be fine but not recommended.

I did some more tests on my main system today. The server crash seems to not be a real crash. When a player exits the server it will not show up on the server browser anymore and it won’t be possible to direct connect to it, however it does appear on Steam Servers, also it does not seem to happen always. Please keep in mind that i’m using the advanced sessions plugin and Steam.

I noticed the problem appears when i close the server and i start it again. If i restart the system or if i start another server using different ports it doesn’t show up.

I haven’t seen this same issue occurring on my end when using a dedicated server built for shipping. I’d recommend looking into creating a dedicated server in a clean project and seeing if the same issue occurs. Let me know the results once you’ve done this.
