Maya: Add bones to skeleton without any influences

Hi UE4 Community,

i just have to say that the maya forum is a little bit lame :smiley:

So i try it here.

I think it is an easy question for those who are familiar with Maya and Animations

So:

I have a skeleton. Now i want to add two bones. These bones are just animated joints for holding something like weapons, etc. What do i have to consider to achieve that.

These bones shall be childs of the arm bones.

And is there a cool solution for displaying these new bones like big arrows. I could need that cause to adjust the one bone to focus on the other hand every frame. I need this for an animation where the character is holding a rifle.

Other workflows are also very welcome.
